Using Message Boards
There is no substitute for learning and knowledge. No individual has extensive knowledge and/or experience in all aspects of life. That’s why sharing the experiences of others is such an empowering endeavour. Internet message boards were created to fill that particular role.
Message boards (sometimes called discussion or bulletin boards) are used as a vehicle where people can go to ask questions, find answers, and share their own thoughts and ideas. These boards are generally geared toward a specific topic. From the latest news to movies and families, message boards help bridge the gap between people, opening a vast world of shared knowledge.
There are many sites that offer message boards. They all generally serve the same purpose, yet the formats may change from site to site.
Messages are generally posted on line, beginning with the subject or topic. To read what people have posted you simply click on the message board of your choice. Many web sites that offer message boards have muliple subjects and topics to look at, click on any topic and read the posts. Remember that each subject may have several pages of posts.
Posting a Message
In order to ask a question or post a comment on a message boards, you may need to login. Logging in is a simple computer courtesy in order to have a name to match to the poster. After you go through the short process of joining the board, you can post your message.
